bluetoothpakRemote CoCo, anybody? It’s the wireless version of the Tandy Deluxe RS-232 Program Pak! Well, it’s not a Tandy brand, but it works the same and over a bluetooth connection to your PC. You can connect from the CoCo or from the PC, or use two CoCo’s to connect automatically!

Up to 115200 bps speed virtual disks, no problem (using the CoCoNet ROM).

Socketed 6551AP ACIA, 27XX EPROM, and logic chips. An LED on the case blinks your status. Comes with the Tandy Deluxe RS-232 Program Pak ROM and soon the new CoCoNet ROM for giving wireless disk drives to any CoCo! That’s right – mount and use all standard disk commands on remote disk images stored on your PC or the web! (you can’t write to the web disks, however).
drivepakHot Item – it’s the MicroSD Drive Pak! And it’s Fast! Replace your old floppy drives and hard drives with one little game-pak sized cartridge. Uses a tiny MicroSD card that you can swap out if you like.

The new Drive Pak (aka Plug and Play Pak) gives up to 2 gigs of solid state disk drives or misc. storage. There’s room and partitions for thousands of “floppy disks” and “hard drives”, and can even auto-boot to Disk BASIC or OS-9 on power-up. You can literally plug this pak into any CoCo with Extended BASIC (including all CoCo 3’s) and have it do what you want automatically using the Auto Boot features. Includes NitrOS-9 which boots in less than 10 seconds !!

Includes the CoCoNet ROM for enhanced Disk BASIC commands which let you perform partition management and disk mounting very easily.

The Drive Pak will be fully loaded with tons of games and software, including NitrOS-9 (OS-9). How do you get more stuff onto the pak? One cheap way is to use your PC and a CoCo bitbanger cable. CoCoNet can mount the virtual disks on your PC and you can perform all standard disk commands between the Drive Pak, real disks, and bitbanger disks, like BACKUP, COPY, DSKINI, SAVE, LOAD, OPEN, etc.

As of Tuesday, November 24, 2009, there are a few small bugs that are being worked out and then 1.0 should be ready in days.

CoCoNet detects the presence of a real floppy drive system, the Deluxe Wireless RS-232 Pak, and the Drive Pak, and instantly gives your CoCo access to THOUSANDS of virtual floppy disks or mass drives using any host pak or cable you might have connected. This includes a bitbanger cable, Tandy RS-232 Pak, Deluxe Wireless Pak, or Drive Pak. USE ALL DRIVE TYPES SIMULTANEOUSLY.. Backup, Copy, Save, Load.

CoCoNet can also use your PC to request files from the web and deposit them onto any wire or wireless virtual disk you have mounted, giving your CoCo instant access to web files. Append parameters to the request URLs to run web scripts and more.
