DETINY.BAS
From: RHP To: HARBIE
I tried DETINY.BAS on a small .TNY file to try it
out. Based on some messages, I expected a long
wait. BUT the run took over an hour & produced an
ST file < <57 SECTORS LONG>>!! Are both of these
(time & file length) normal? If I had a 35 track
drive, I couldn’t have completed the conversion.
After converting to .MGE, the file was it’s normal
14 sectors. P.S.-the picture was named WIZARD &
was a disappointment.

BY SECTORS , YOU MEAN GRANULES ? , 57 IS DEFINITIVELY NOT NORMAL !! IT SHOULD
BE 14 GRANS LONG (OR 15?) LIKE THE .MGE FILES , OR ANY NORMAL ST DEGAS FORMAT
FILE . I DIDN’T THINK OF ASKING ‘BOBWHARTON’ IF HIS DID THE SAME THING , BUT IT
DEFINITIVELY SHO
ULD NOT !! I’LL LOOK INTO THIS , ARE YOU USING DECB 1.0 OR ADOS ? I TESTED IT
ON THESE 2 DISK ROMS AND IT WORKS FINE .
