Marty, I was wondering if the PTC64 printer controller on sale at RS will work
for printing graphics. If so how do you get it in graphics mode or what ever.

I’m relatively unfamiliar with that printer controller / buffer,
but tend to suggest you stay away from it.
(1) It can be used only on parallel printer lines…
and CoCo users tend to have serial printers.
(2) At its close out price, it still costs far MORE than
other cheap hardware 64K printer buffers.
(3) As for graphics, I just don’t know… it was designed,
I believe, to send special things to the printer,
and may even trap various codes. There may be an override,
tho, to make it be a “dumb” buffer that passes EVERYTHING
and adds NOTHING… but you can buy those for $50 if you
have acess to computer swap meets.
