MAX10

Sorry about the mixup, no offense intended. I am about to build a switch-
box to accomodae my “clicker”, my mouse, my hi-res switcher, cassette,…
ad infin nauseum. That’s the main reason I don’t like hardware anti-
pirate devices, too much pluggin’. -Ron Potter

Ron, There have been a few changes online that will allow you to avoid the
clicker and the “other” HiRes module, thus saving some plugging. I too, am
always
building some sort of switcher to accomodate all these hardware add on devices
that are used to protect.Check database for “unclicker” and “HiRes module”.

Unfortunately, a bug has surfaced in the “unclicker” program… a pretty
serious one, too. After installing the unclicker patch, you’ll find
that you only have 2K worth of buffer space available… that isn’t an
awful lot of room.

“Unclicker” does NOT work! Using this software patch results in the buffer
being reduced to 2k! Oh well.

Will d, thanks. BTW I just got the MAX-10 upgrade tonight and played
with it a little bit. It looks pretty good, type around may be alittle
tough yet, but it looks like it can be done. -Ron Potter
