Ok guys after a traumatic shift in my schedule due to my son starting first grade…….. i think i am ready to get back into the game. sooooo withought further delay lets get started on another newsletter/e-zine. I had a hard time last time getting ahold of one of the people that i had interviewd and getting the interview ok’d for publishing. So lets gets some submissions in and get another one pumped out. i am looking for article, game listing, game reviews, and of course one liners. I also want suggestions on whom to interview this time. I want to hear from ANYONE who attended the cocofest and any pictures they might have. I also am currently intrested in any archive projects anyone is doing (caugh: briza etc) and anyting that has to do with the diecom games or lightgun…( i have one and want to know what to do with it for jake) so here it is and lets get started. also since we have gained alot of people back into our community lets get some begginer stuff in here too.

Thanks for all you guys do and contribute!

I need to do some touching up of my “Mary And The Butterfiles” review, and also write a review for “Gate Crasher”. Hope to submit both by July 2nd.

Yes Briza let me know more info on yahoo IM just leave me an offline if you dont see me online. Good to hear about the game reviews comin’ whoo hoo.
rock and roll! I think this has been a weird and hard past few months on all of us but i hope that we are all getting back on track with our lives. Just seemed like ever since last august alot of us started going through some personal problems. I hope that yall like me have gotten past most of them and are getting back on track and into our “normal ” lives!

    god bless
    Mary

My life (if you could call it that) has actually been even less “normal” than usual; I released a two-level demo of a game over a week ago, I’ve been doing repair work on someone’s operating system, and I’ve found myself experiencing 80s nostalgia and writing a script for an animated series that no longer exists (“Alvin And The Chipmunks”).

Sounds good to me Rick! Those would all make great newsletter articles !

Sorry if this is off topic, but I am new to the site. Although not new to the coco!

Question, is there somewhere I can view/download previous issues of CoCoNutz Ezine? I can get the latest one (May-Apr 2008) but all of the others seem to be dead links that just go back to cco3.com main page.

    Thanks!

Same thing happens to me. I also get the same thing when I try to link directly to main forum page,. I have to get to it by clicking on my Private Messages area then from there to main forum.

  • MaryKramer

hope this issue has been resolved with the bad links?

Not as this morning. Current issue is a link to a pdf file, like this:
    http://www.coco3.com/text/CoCoNutzMarApr2008.pdf

All the remaining links are php scripts like this:
    http://www.coco3.com/go.php?url=coconutz_pdfscreen_v3i2

All of these just return to the main page and no download start. :-(

Well, I just tried again with the magazines, and this time I got a popup for the download/open! Gotem’ all! Not sure if someone fixed something or something on my browser changed, caus’ another problem I had seemed to fix itself also. Previously clicking on the forum link just returned me to the main page, and the only way I could get to it was to do a login and select messages. from there I could get to the forum… Now the forum link is working properly also.

    Thanks

Sorry for my long silence around here lately. My workplace has adopted an awful new workshift that no one in the department wants, but some higher-up is saying we’re supposed to do anyway. It’s really been robbing me of my free time. :(

I’ll let you know when things make a turn-around. :)
