floppy disks

I have several old floppy disks with CoCo software on them, some commercial software such as Elite Word, Elite Calc, and the Elite database. I believe I have a disk with Nelson’s Super Color Writer. I no longer have any use for them and would be pleased to contribute them if someone has an archive that could use them. Unfortunately, I do not have the documentation to go with them.

I also have some disks with programs I wrote years ago. I am no longer able to print from a Color Computer, but would like program listings of several of the things I wrote. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

If they are BASIC programs, you could create disk images from your floppies and then use the “wimgtool” utility that comes with MESS to extract the individual program files (using Tokenized Basic mode) as text files on your PC.

There is a bug in wimgtool that causes it to extract some CoCo 3 specific keywords incorrectly. A workaround for this is to use VCC or MESS to load the tokenized BASIC programs and re-save them using the ,A option. Then you can use wimgtool to extract those files using Raw mode.
