There are several OS-9 programs that can do that. The best one is lha. You need two binaries lha211c and xlh both available at ftp://www.rtsi.com/OS9/OS9_6X09/ARCHIVERS/
ok running vcc and it says all the bins are corrupt. can you please give me the steps on how to do this
or perhaps send me the .dsk already done. thanks
OK, here is how you should be using the files from RTSI.
The file lha211c.lzh is an archive which can be opened with Winzip. An alternative approach would be to take the files lha211c.bin and xlh.bin, copy them to an OS-9 CMDS directory but changing the names. The names should be lha and xlh. You would then copy the lha211c.lzh archive to the OS-9 disk and open it using the lha command which has built-in help. Just enter lha to get help.
The easiest method is to use Winzip or a similar program to open the archive and you can then read the included documentation.

Which bins are reported as corrupt, the archives you want to expand or the archive program?
lha, lha2cc, xlh. when i click on them the open the vcc program and comes up with bad or corrupt .bin files
