I see that there is a Dungeons of Daggorath for the CoCo. Does that mean there is a Dungeons of Daggorath 2? Or do you mean Dungeons of Daggorath for the CoCo3?
That’s interesting, because I was just starting a prototype for a ‘Dungeon’-type game on the CoCo 3
Nothing to show yet, it is still in the prototyping stage and I have to figure out a lot of things, but I’ll keep you posted.
I have put a lot of thought into and was planning to start a ‘dungeons’ type game soon also.
I’ve been holding off as I’m developing other ideas that will make the game amazingly better.
But if remz is doing one then I’ll continue to hold off and develop my other ideas further, but this time keep them to myself until I’ve had a chance to do something with them lol
I never got very far on the first Dungeons game (due to inadequate documentation at the time), but I’ve been told it was like several different games put into one package. If – in the development process – any of you find that your game concept doesn’t seem to be working by itself, it might be best to separate it out into several different levels, having the player go through other types of gameplay in order to get there.
Sorry for my long absence in these forums. Been concentrating mainly on recording nowadays; I’ve been using Goldwave a lot lately to record demos and such.
Sounds like a good opportunity for you to attempt (or learn) some programming. I’m always willing to comment on other peoples work.
