Porting files between NitrOS9/RSDos and converting files from Windows/MSDos

I’m feeling a bit lost. Maybe I’m not looking in the right place or I’m just having a brain fart. So here it is in a nutshell.

How in the world do I convert files from MSDos/Windows to a .dsk image that can be read in NitrOS9? I can get files to RSDos format but there are two problems. First being that I can’t seem to read the files from NitrOS9, the other being that if I want to convert a 1mb file, then I’m stuck.

So what am I missing here? How do I do this?

Okay found HRSDOS on the VHD, still would be nice to somehow transfer files more directly somehow. Any help?

There are several tools that move files back and forth between MSDOS and .dsk or .os9 disk images. They are mostly associated with emulators. MESS has imgtool.exe and wimgtool.exe depending on the MESS version. JVC emulators have port.exe. Toolshed (associated with NitrOS-9) has decb.exe and os9.exe. There are several independent utilities one of which is OmniFlop.

If you search for these with Google, you will find them.
