Hi Everyone,

I am interested in buying a Tano Dragon 64 CoCo compatible computer because I heard that you can still buy one of these things new. My question is, can I use my CoCo disk controller and game cartridges on the Dragon computer? Are my CoCo stuffs compatible with this computer? This could be a deal breaker for me if it is not. I would appreciate it if there are Dragon 64 owners out there that would share their knowledge and experience regarding the Tano Dragon 64 computer. Thanks.

I’ve acquired an MC-10, but no power supply was included. The manual says it needs 8V and 1.5A for power. Does anyone know the specification for the power plug that inserts into the computer itself? (e.g. plug inside/outside width, positive/negative to tip.) I think I can find an adapter that will work, but need these additional pieces of information to be sure.

For those who haven’t seen it, I still have my webpage up:
www.nausicaa.net/~lgreenf
which has a page devoted not only to the CoCo, but to the Fujitsu FM-7 (the Japanese CoCo “clone”) as well. I also have scans of the never-released Taiwanese Sampo CoCo clone from their ad that ran once, and a couple others. The FM-7′s a pretty neat machine, I have one of them.
I also managed to pick up (for $35 in Los Angeles) an American Tano Dragon but never used it much. Still have it in the garage, but don’t have any scans or pics of it…
Larry

The name of the game is Bongo. It is similar in Genre to Sinistarr. And other classic space shooters.

Here is some screen shots of the game in Question. Btw. it works as is. but you need to know which keys to press on the coco. As the keys listed in the menu screen are not used on the coco. It is using a different keyboard matrix’s. Hence is the reason I have not put it up for download yet.

 Hi Fellow Coconuts.

Well at the moment I’m working with 2 other coco users to port over some of the Dragon games. So far I have managed to get over 9 games. 6 work perfectly so far. The other 3 will need to be patched to except coco keyboard matrixs. Thanks to Sixxie who sent me a better list of the different hardware structure and hardware addresses will surely make it easier to patch keyboards.
But it would be good if maybe a couple more people would lend a hand in helping port the games over.
So far Curtis and Sixxie have lent a hand. And Robert Gault lends a hand when a game is being a bit too hard to get across to a disk image.
